Artist Trading Cards

I'm getting ready to attend the CPSA Convention in Atlanta, Ga. Wow, how the time has flown by.. I leave next Monday! Whoa. lol. The Ga District Chapter is hosting an ATC exchange, so I thought I'd join in the fun. I've created these ATC's to take, each of them being 2.3" x 3.5". (The same size as a playing card or a baseball card.)

The first one is on Uart 500, the second two are on Bristol Vellum. I'd like to sneak in a couple more before I get there. :)

Sunshine is on her way to Atlanta!

I've officially called her finished. Yay!

What a relief, Uart 800 is NOT my favorite grit to work on.
Have a great week everyone!

May 2009

This little hummingbird visited my studio one morning... he didn't want to leave either.

From April to July?

I guess I've been busy with my pencil work...

Although I've been taking photos, I haven't updated this blog. *sigh*. I've been debating of combining my art blog with my photo blog, at least that way the updates would be consistant. In theory that works because If I'm in studio, I'm not out shooting photos, and vice versa. Not something I've really decided yet, but I am tossing it around.
This was the view out my bedroom window on Easter Morning. She had 8 friends with her. It was way to early to quickly grab the camera and actually reset my settings. That's a lot to ask before coffee! I'm lucky the few captures I got, were useable.

Late April Sunset.
